At WH Williams, our saw cutting facilities enable us to cut lengths of structural steels such as RHS, SHS, pipe, tube, flat bar, angles and beams. Using an automatic mitre band saw, a range of materials are automatically fed through, requiring minimum supervision, producing a high level of efficiency. With a maximum workload weight of 400 kilograms, even heavy items can be processed and bundles of items can be cut simultaneously.
The full stroke clamping vise reduces our operators’ setup times for different widths of various materials. Even if the material is fine, the gentle touch of the clamp keeps the steel intact, avoiding deformities or damage. The manual vise inching control allows the operator to more accurately locate the work piece for the cut.
